Sgt. Stanley Wojtkowski, served on diocesan Blue Mass committee

Funeral services were held July 18 in Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Home, Lawrenceville, for Sgt. Stanley Wojtkowski, a resident of Robbinsville and a member of the New Jersey State Police, who died July 12 in Middle Township. He was 47.

Sgt. Wojtkowski was born in Linden and raised in Rahway. He lived in East Windsor for many years before moving to Robbinsville two years ago. He was awarded a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Rowan University, Glassboro, and had been with the New Jersey State Police since 1989. He was a member of the State Troopers NCO Association, the Linden Hunting and Fishing Club and served for a year on the diocesan Blue Mass planning committee in which he represented the non-commissioned officers for the New Jersey State Police.

Sgt. Wojtkowski was predeceased by his father, Stanley F. Wojtkowski, and two sisters, Diane Holley and Peggy Ann Holley. He is survived by his two sons, Brett and Hunter Wojtkowski, his mother, Stephanie Lehan Wojtkowski; his estranged wife, Susan Lazar Wojtkowski; four brothers, Adam, Stephen, John Wojtkowski and Joseph Holley; three sisters, Joan and Margie Wojtkwoski and Jeannie DeGroot, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial donations may be made to the State Police Memorial Association, P.O. Box 7068, West Trenton, N.J. 08628-0068.
