Series on Mark's Gospel in Lawrenceville

St. Ann Parish, Lawrenceville, will host a series on The Gospel According to Mark, on Wednesday evenings starting Oct. 7. The series will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the parish’s Faith Development Center.

Geared towards people who are looking to deepen or enhance their faith, the sessions will focus on Mark’s Gospel, which was the first Gospel to be written and influential on the writings of subsequent Gospels. In addition to reading Mark’s Gospel, participants will also read the Catholic Commentary of Sacred Scripture by Mary Healy, a renowned Catholic commentator and have discussions facilitated by St. Ann parishioner Fred Vasapolli who has studied the Scriptures professionally and has led Scripture study groups for many years.

Registration fee is $30 and includes a copy of The Gospel According to Mark by Mary Healy. Deadline to register is Sept. 14. All participants are to bring their own Bible to the sessions.
