Saving lives through organ, tissue and blood donation

NJ Sharing Network and St. Catharine’s Parish Nurses, Holmdel, will hold a spiritual and clinical look at organ and tissue donation Oct. 17 from 7 to 8 p.m. in room 16/17 at 108 Middletown Road.
The topics being covered will include; the overview of NJ Sharing Network; how the donation process works and supporting families through end-of-life decisions.

In conjunction with the Central Jersey Blood Center, the parish will hold a blood drive Nov. 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parish center located at 108 Middletown Road.
Donors must present signature ID, be healthy, 16 years of age, with parental consent, and weigh at least 120 pounds. Consent forms are provided by Central Jersey Blood Center. Appointments are helpful, but not necessary. To schedule an appointment, call Gay Viggiano at 732-671-3347.
