Rumson parish offers Bible study

July 29, 2019 at 12:37 p.m.

Holy Cross Parish Bible Study, Rumson, will present the 24-week “Bible Timeline” classes weekly from Sept. 28 to April 19, 2018. Classes will meet Thursday mornings from 9:45 to 11:30 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Room in the lower level of the church at 30 Ward Ave.

The Bible Timeline is a study that takes participants on a journey throughout the entire Bible.  Using a unique color-coded system, participants will learn about the major people, places and events in each period of  Salvation history and how they all come together to reveal the remarkable story of our faith.  Video presentations are by renowned Catholic author Jeff Cavins.

An opportunity to meet study facilitators, members, receive materials and view the introductory video will be made available at the Welcome Coffee Sept. 21 at 9:45 a.m.

All are welcome, no previous Bible study required.  The cost for the materials is $45.  Participants will need to bring their own copies of the Bible and Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC). Registration and fee is due by Sept. 7.

For more information or to request a registration form, call Eugenia Kelly 732-842-0348, ext. 1127.
