A Scripture program on “The Kingdom of God” is planned for October in St. Anthony of Padua, Red Bank. The workshop will be held Oct. 2, 9, 12, 23 and 30 from 7:30-9 p.m. in the church. Members of surrounding parishes are welcome to attend.

The presenter will be Rev. Mr. Garry Koch, who was ordained a transitional deacon in May by Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M. Rev. Mr. Koch is serving his transitional diaconate year assignment in St. Catharine-St. Margaret Parish, Spring Lake.

The series will explore the various aspects of the theology of the Kingdom of God from both the Old and New Testaments.

Registration fee is $30 and scholarships are available for anyone unable to pay. Lay individuals, catechists and deacons will receive continuing education credits that will be accepted by the Diocese of Trenton. Make checks payable to St. Anthony of Padua and send to Juliet Cozzi, coordinator of Adult Formation, 121 Bridge Ave., Red Bank, N.J. 07701. Deadline to register is Sept. 24.
