Regional Adult Faith Formation presents the Catholicism Project

To help celebrate the Year of Faith proclaimed by Pope Benedict XVI, the Northern Burlington County Regional Adult Faith Formation Ministry continues to present  the acclaimed DVD Catholicism series in Holy Cross High School, 5035 Route 130 South, Delran.

Created and hosted by Father Robert Barron, the series was filmed on location at holy sites around the world and through an engaging script, art, architecture, literature and music, it illuminates what Catholics believe and why.

The schedule for the series, which will be facilitated by Conventual Franciscan Father David Stachurski, pastor of Resurrection Parish, Delran, and Pat Brooks, coordinator of faith formation in Resurrection Parish, is held on the following Wednesday evenings starting at 7 p.m. in Holy Cross High School:

Nov. 28 – “Happy Are We – The Teachings of Jesus”

Dec. 5 – “That Than Which Nothing Greater Can Be Thought – The Ineffable Mystery of God”

Jan. 9 – “Our Tainted Nature’s Solitary Boast: Mary the Mother of God”

Jan. 16 – “The Indispensable Men: Peter, Paul and the Missionary Adventure”

Jan. 30 – “A Body Both Suffering and Glorious: The Mystical Union of Christ and the Church”

Feb. 6 – “Word Made Flesh, True Bread of Heaven: The Mystery of the Liturgy and the Eucharist”

Feb. 20 – “A Vast Company of Witnesses: The Communion of Saints”

March 6 – “The Fire of His Love: Prayer and the Life of the Spirit”

March 20 – “World Without End: The Last Things”

Each DVD presentation stands on its own, so participants are welcome to attend any or all of them. There is no fee to attend the sessions, but registration is required. To register, contact Pat Brooks at 609-234-0628 or e-mail: [email protected].
