Red Bank parish to host day of prayer July 28

The St. Anne’s Society of St. Anthony of Padua Parish, Red Bank, will host a day of prayer July 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the church on 121 Bridge Ave., Red Bank. The day will begin with Mass followed by a light brunch and three speakers on the topic of spiritual vitality.
Presenters include Father Alberto Tamayo, pastor; Father Nicholas Dolan, parochial vicar, and Pat Stevens, spiritual director. The speakers will touch upon seeking love, delighting in connecting with others and celebrating faith.
The St. Anne Society was founded in 1881 by Anna Wick as a support group for Catholic women. Named for the mother of Blessed Virgin Mary, the mother of Christ, St. Anne Societies promote families to assist the parish with spiritual and educational programs.
