'Reboot! Live!' set for April in St. Leo the Great Parish

At a time when more and more people seem to be asking the question, “What does faith have to do with my life?,” the parish of St. Leo the Great, Lincroft, is hosting a dynamic event meant to answer that question for people of all ages.

"Reboot! Live!" – an initiative of Real Life Catholic (www.realifecatholic.com) –  will once again bring an inspiring, fun and practical multi-media experience of the beauty and genius of the Gospel to the Diocese, April 11, 7-9:30 p.m. in St. Leo the Great Parish.

“The whole purpose of 'Reboot' is evangelization,” said Mark Russoniello, pastoral associate for parish faith formation in St. Leo the Great Parish.

Led by Chris Stefanick, an internationally renowned Catholic speaker and author, and featuring top performing music artists, the event is designed to touch on every aspect of life, including spirituality, work, dating, marriage, parenting, health and more.

“Chris Stefanick has a unique way of presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ in language that contemporary audiences can understand and absorb,” said Russoniello, adding, “He is one of the most alive with the faith people I have ever seen. He is the same whether he’s speaking with adults or adolescents, large groups, small groups or one-one-one. He is in love with Jesus. Through the various events I’ve attended and working with his team at Real Life Catholic, I’ve seen that it really is possible to live your faith out in the world without fear or embarrassment, and that others will respond.”

“What 'Reboot' allows local communities to do is open up the opportunity for active Catholics to deepen their relationship with Jesus, lukewarm folks to re-vision their own relationship with Jesus and light a new fire in it, and lapsed Catholics to encounter Jesus in a new way that hopefully will lead them home again,” noted Russoniello.

The proceeds from 'Reboot' events go to support the development and dissemination of Real Life Catholic’s College Connection program, an in-process effort to provide parishes and college-bound young adults with resources to help them stay connected to the Church while living in the often anti-Catholic, anti-religious environments of modern college campuses.

Real Life Catholic’s purpose is to ignite a bold, contagious faith in the heart of every Catholic in America, by building a movement of Catholics who share the beauty, power and truth of the Gospel with a world that has largely forgotten.

To register for the April event go to www.RealLifeCatholic.com, or contact Mark G. Russoniello, pastoral associate, St. Leo the Great Parish Office of Parish Faith Formation at (732) 530-0717 or [email protected] or [email protected].
