Program on 'Experiencing God in Times of Stress and Anxiety' scheduled

St. Anthony of Padua Parish, Red Bank, will present a program “Experiencing God in Times of Stress and Anxiety” Sept. 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parish center at 121 Bridge Avenue.

The program will begin with a welcome of coffee/tea and muffins, a prayer service and a guest speaker followed by lunch.  A green salad, dessert and beverage will be provided; bring a bag lunch.  The second guest speaker will present after lunch allowing time for “table talk” with questions and answers.

One of the guest speakers will be Mel Bennett, a N.J. State licensed counselor whose practice interests are rooted in theories of positive psychology with a particular focus on forgiveness, optimism and resilience.  Franciscan Father Francis Berna, director of the graduate program for religious education at the University of LaSalle in Philadelphia will also be a guest speaker.

All are welcome. A donation of $10 is accepted.  Reservations are required.  To reserve a seat, call Rosemary Troianiello at 732-212-8226.  Checks can be made out to the Ministry of St. Anne and mailed to Ministry of St. Anne, 121 Bridge Avenue, Red Bank, N.J. 07701, Attn:  Spirituality Team.
