Presentation on 'Revelation'
July 29, 2019 at 12:37 p.m.
St. Gregory the Great Parish, Hamilton Square, will host a presentation on “Revelation – Public and Private” April 1 at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel located at 4620 Nottingham Way.
The presenter will be Father Frederick Miller, spiritual director of the College Seminary at Seton Hall University, South Orange, and also an adjunct professor of systematic theology. He will discuss the fundamental Catholic belief that God has revealed himself and his will throughout human history and most fully revealed himself in the life and mission of Jesus Christ. Father Miller will reflect on how God continues to guide his people by manifestations and charisms, such as through the revelation of the Sacred Heart to St. Margaret Mary and the apparitions at Lourdes and Fatima. He will address how the Church determines the authenticity of such revelations and whether Catholics are bound to believe in the apparitions.
