Presentation on climate change Nov. 10

“What is our Catholic Perspective on Global Climate Change?” will be the topic of an adult faith formation presentation to be held Nov. 10 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in St. Ann Parish, 1253 Lawrenceville Rd., Lawrenceville.

Presented by Sister of St. Joseph Mary Elizabeth Clark, the session will address questions on why are Catholics called to care for creation?, what does the Catholic Church teach about climate change and environmental issues?, how does climate change impact those who are poor in our world? and how can Catholics become more engaged in caring for God’s creation as individuals, as families and as parishes?”

Sister Mary Elizabeth is a Catholic climate ambassador for the Catholic Coalition on Climate Covenant. In addition, she ministers as director of the Sisters of St. Joseph Earth Center and is assistant to the president of Chestnut Hill College for Sustainability.
