Parishes collaborate for mission

The parishes of Our Lady of Sorrows-St. Anthony, Hamilton, St. Gregory the Great, Hamilton Square, St. John the Baptist, Allentown, St. Raphael-Holy Angels, Hamilton, and St. Vincent De Paul, Hamilton, have collaborated and will hold a parish mission with Father Larry Richards in St. Gregory the Great Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, May 8 through 11 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Father Richards is a charismatic teacher, preacher, retreat master and gifted speaker.  He speaks from experience as a pastor of an inner city parish, a high school chaplain, a counselor and evangelist.  He can be heard on WFJS (1260 AM) Mondays at 5 p.m. and Monday through Thursday at 8 a.m.

The dates and topics to be discussed are as follows:  May 8, “God’s Love and Prayer”; May 9, “Love of Others,” (done in the context of a Mass); May 10, “Passion of Christ and the Need for Confession,” (followed by individual Confession), and May 11, “Adoration and Healing,” (done in the context of Eucharistic Adoration and a Healing Service).
