Parish to observe Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel

Christ the King Parish, Long Branch, will celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel with a three-day observance July 15-17 in the Holy Trinity Church worship site.

On each of the days, the celebration will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be presided over by the following priests -- July 15 (Spanish), Father Roberto Padilla, parochial vicar of St. Barnabas Parish, Bayville; July 16, Msgr. Peter J. Zaccardo, a weekend assistant in Christ the King Parish; July 17, Father Leon Buni, parochial vicar in Christ the King.

On July 18, the observance will close with recitation of the Rosary at 3 p.m. in the Church. A Mass will follow at 4 with Msgr. Joseph Rosie, former pastor of Holy Trinity Parish, and current pastor of St. Paul Parish, Princeton. A procession from the church to the parish hall will follow the Mass.
