Parish to hold Trenton Health Team sessions

Blessed Sacrament-Our Lady of the Divine Shepherd Parish, Trenton, received funding for nine sessions from Trenton Health Team to present “Faithful Families Eating Smart Moving More” on the second and fourth Wednesdays through June. The next meeting is May 13 in Wessel Hall at 716 Bellevue Ave. at 6:30 p.m.
The purpose of the sessions is to educate participants in nutrition and exercise. During the sessions Bonniewell Gram, III, with Trenton Health Team and Doris Clark-Lewis, parish lay leader, follow a guided book from THT and present an educational discussion on nutrition, exercise and recipes. The recipe is then prepared and sampled by participants.
The exercise for each session, such as line dancing or Zumba is planned by Clark-Lewis.
There is no fee to attend.
