Parish schedules first golf outing

Precious Blood Parish, Monmouth Beach, will host its first golf outing June 11 at Jumping Brook Country Club in Neptune. The tournament will kick off with registration and Continental breakfast at 7 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 8 a.m. The cost is $225 per golfer or $900 per foursome and includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart, locker house facilities, welcome gift, unlimited driving range and putting green, complimentary beverage cart, photographer on the course, reception, barbeque luncheon, awards, games and prizes.

Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third low gross foursome. There will also be a Hole-in-One contest and additional prizes for the closest to the pin, longest drive and straightest drive for both men and women.

After the tournament there will be a reception followed by a barbeque luncheon and awards presentation.

Proceeds will be directed to the restoration and refurbishment of the Parish Center which is used by many groups from several surrounding communities for basketball, dinner dances, meetings, etc.
