Parish Renewal to be held in St. Catherine of Siena, Farmingdale

St. Catherine of Siena Parish, Farmingdale, will host a Parish Renewal, “We Are Called” Nov. 8-10 at 7 p.m. The presenter will be air force chaplain Father Ken Beale.
The topics that Father Beale will cover include: Nov. 8 – “It’s All About ME!” which will focus on the Sacrament of Baptism; Nov. 9 – “It’s All About YOU!” which will focus on the Sacrament of Penance, and Nov. 10 – "It’s All About GOD!" which will include Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
Father Beale is currently senior Catholic chaplain at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. While his background includes having served as director of the seminary choir, a religious education teacher, and pastoral caregiver in a nursing home, soup kitchen and prison, he developed an interest in wanting to minister to military personnel and in 1988 he began his ministry in the Air Force Chaplaincy.
Father Beale has been stationed in Mississippi, South Carolina, Colorado, Utah and Illinois, and has served overseas in Germany, England, and in combat in Bosnia, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kyrgyzstan and the United Arab Emirates.
