Our Lady of Fatima apparition observance

The National Blue Army Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima will celebrate the 97th anniversary of the fifth apparition of Our Lady of Fatima Sept. 13. The day will open with the Sacrament of Reconciliation at 10:30 a.m. and will be followed by a Rosary procession with the pilgrim statue at noon, and Mass at 1 p.m. Bishop Joseph C. Bambera of the Diocese of Scranton, Pa., will be the celebrant. The day will conclude with Brown Scapular enrollment and the Fatima Farewell procession.
The shrine is located at 674 Mountain View Rd., E. Washington.
