OUR DIOCESE TODAY: Diocese to livestream pro-life events slated through upcoming weekend
July 29, 2019 at 12:37 p.m.
The Diocese of Trenton will be live-streaming multiple pro-life events that have been scheduled for the next several days locally and in Washington D.C.
The diocesan family will gather Jan. 17 in St. Robert Bellarmine Co-Cathedral, Freehold, for a special Preparatory Mass to pray for a renewed respect and protection for life at all its stages. Mass will be celebrated by Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M. at 7 p.m. and is offered particularly for those who will travel to Washington D.C. the next morning to partake in the annual March for Life.
This Mass will be live-streamed for anyone who cannot attend but want to join in asking God’s blessings on this annual witness to the sanctity of life. The video stream can be viewed on the diocesan YouTube page, beginning at 7 p.m. or by clicking here.
Please hold in prayer over 10 buses that will be leaving from parishes across Burlington, Mercer, Monmouth and Ocean counties on the morning of Jan. 18 to bring people to the March for Life. This year’s March for Life, themed “Unique From Day One: Pro-Life is Pro-Science,” will mark the 46th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision to legalize abortion in the United States.
The Diocese of Trenton will be live-streaming and live-posting on social media leading up-to and for the duration of the March for Life in Washington. For continuing, live coverage of this annual event, be sure to like the Diocese of Trenton on Facebook and follow us on Twitter and Instagram.
If you are attending the March for Life and would like to share your photos on social media, be sure to use the hashtag #DOTMarch4Life so they can be seen and shared.
Comprehensive coverage of the Mass in Freehold and the Jan. 18 March for Life in Washington D.C. will be published beginning Jan. 18 on TrentonMonitor.com and in the Jan. 24 print-edition of The Monitor.
