Mount Carmel Guild is now accepting nominations for its Community Service Award, which recognizes men, women and organizations that unselfishly serve in the Mercer County area. Honorees will receive their award at the Guild’s annual gala scheduled for Oct. 19.
Nominees should be persons who support the community through service, talent and time. They can be clergy, lay or religious and can also include couples who together serve the community. Previous honorees have helped their community in many diverse ways – catechists, professionals serving on parish committees and/or boards, and business owners who have donated either time or services.
To make a nomination, send a short biography of the nominee indicating his/her past and present service and reason why the person should be recognized to Jane Chrnelich, nominating committee chair, at [email protected] ; fax, 609.392.5903 or mail to Mount Carmel Guild, 73 North Clinton Ave., Trenton, N.J. 08609. All nominations are due by March 2.[[In-content Ad]]
