New saints model Christian love

Pope Benedict XVI canonized five new saints Oct. 11, calling them "models of Christian love." The most well-known of the new saints are St. Damien de Veuster, a missionary priest who worked with a colony of lepers in Hawaii, and St. Jeanne Jugan, foundress of the Little Sisters of the poor.
