New Pastors Pledge Fidelity

The Golden Inn, Avalon, hosted the New Pastors’ Orientation, two days of workshops and training intended to prepare the priests for assuming parish leadership positions July 1. Sessions covered such topics as human resources, financial statements, liturgical practices and sacramental record keeping. Each priest signed an Oath of Fidelity before Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M., as per Canon law, and celebrated Mass as they shared fellowship with one another.
