The Mercer County Federation of Holy Name Societies will hold its 55th annual Msgr. Richard T. Crean Memorial Mass and Scholarship Awards Breakfast March 18 in St. Raphael Church, 3500 South Broad St., Hamilton.

The Mass will be celebrated at 7:30 p.m. The breakfast will follow in the parish center.

Msgr. Crean was rector of St. Mary of the Assumption Cathedral, Trenton, from 1934 until March 14, 1956, when he and two housekeepers lost their lives in the fire that destroyed the cathedral and adjacent chancery and rectory.
