The Mercer County CYO is committed to allowing all youth in the greater Mercer County area who either attend Catholic school or religious education program the opportunity to play CYO basketball. This year, the CYO seeks parish team mergers for smaller parishes that have not been able to field teams in the past because of low enrollment. In addition to the mergers, the CYO will continue to offer the a waiver request for youth who are enrolled in a Catholic School or religious education program in a parish that does not sponsors a team. Those youth who are eligible to play through a granted waiver will be placed on a participating team based on need and location.
