Memorial Mass for two priests in Freehold parish

A memorial Mass for two deceased priests who formerly served in St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, Freehold, will be celebrated in the parish church Sept. 6 at 11:30 a.m.
The priests are Msgr. Thomas Dentici, who founded St. Robert Bellarmine Parish in 1971, and Father Matthew Adackapara. Msgr. Dentici left the Diocese to pursue a vocation in the Benedictine order in Colorado. He was incardinated into the Archdiocese of Denver in 1983 where he served as a parish priest until his retirement. Msgr. Dentici died July 17.
Father Adackapara was ordained to the priesthood in his native India. He was incardinated a priest of the Diocese of Trenton in 1986 and served in many parishes as parochial vicar. After he retired, he served in St. Robert Bellarmine Parish. He died June 23 in India.
St. Robert Bellarmine Parish is located at 61 Georgia Rd., Freehold.
