“I chose this design because although there are over 7 billion people on the planet earth I believe that there is no greater love or connection than between a mother and her child. During my mom's pregnancy, the doctor encouraged an abortion because due to medical complications my birth would result in both my death and serious health repercussions for my mom. Since my parents are anti-abortion, they went through with the pregnancy and here I am at age 18 entering this contest.”
