St. Mary Parish, Colts Neck, is holding a “Love Thy Neighbor” benefit event Sept. 19 from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Abbey Farm estate on Montrose Road. The event will raise funds for the parish’s many philanthropic works in the community.
The benefit will be held on Abbey Farm, a 31,000 square foot estate on 30 acres owned by parishioners Abbey Feiler-Kober and Tommy Kober. Food for the evening will be prepared by Colts Neck Inn, Osteria, Cake and Co. and others. Live music will be performed by St. Mary parishioners Lauren Walters and Andrew Macirowski as well at the 17-piece Colts Neck Swing Band.
In addition, artist Orly Genger and jewelry designer Jacklyn Mayer will host a jewelry trunk show and have pieces available for purchase. Cigar enthusiasts can witness cigar rolling and sample various cigars on an outdoor patio.
Through its ministries and programs, St. Mary Parish aids the community at large by paying rents or utility bills, supplying the local food back with donations, purchasing gifts for the poor at Christmas and providing many faith-based initiatives and programs.
Benefit tickets are $150 per person and may be purchased at stmaryscoltsneck.org. or by calling 732-780-2666. Abbey Farm is located at 86 Montrose Road, Colts Neck.
