From staff reports

St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, Freehold, is starting the new year with its 2017 Discussion Series that will include topics such as love, healthy eating, saving for the future and more.

In February, Father James Grogan, parochial vicar in Our Lady of Good Counsel, Moorestown, will tackle the subject “Love & Marriage – A Journey of Growth.” The presentation, from 7 to 9 p.m. Feb. 8, will focus on marriage as a lifelong journey. Father Grogan has more than a decade’s worth of preparing couples for marriage as a deacon and priest. He was married 25 years and had three sons before his wife passed away.

Couples attending the discussion are encouraged to bring the lyrics to their first dance, in addition to the lyrics for the groom’s dance with his mother and the bride’s dance with her father.

The 2017 Discussion Series, which is sponsored by parishioner Kathy Lo Bue and Glen Eagle Advisors, Freehold, a faith and family investment firm of which she is director, continues over the months with:

Healthy Eating, March 8, with speakers Mary Myers, a registered dietitian and nutritionist, and Chef Chris Lo Bue

 • A Gift for Your Children: An Estate Plan!, April 19, with Robert F. Muñoz, a partner in the Davison, Eastman & Muñoz law firm, Freehold.

Every Penny Counts, May 10, with Kathy Lo Bue

Downsizing, Decluttering & Staging, June 14, with Betty Anne McKenna, Coldwell Banker

Our Beautiful, Baffling Brain, July 12, with Barbara Bogner, Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Rutgers University

What’s in Your Homeowner’s Policy?, Aug. 9, with Marty Weisman and Janet Fitzgerald, Metro Public Adjustment
