LourdesCare at New Hanover, a new outpatient center at Wrightstown-Cookstown Rd., recently celebrated its grand opening with a community open house. Residents took part in health screenings, facility tours and seated chair massages. A teddy bear clinic was available for children.

LourdesCare at New Hanover is designed as a convenient, all-in-one location for expert radiology, testing and physical therapy services, with an effort to help patients maintain their overall health.

“We are excited to open our doors to the Fort Dix-McGuire community,” said Alexander Hatala, president and chief executive officer of Lourdes Health System. “As healthcare evolves, it is becoming more important to bring services into the community where people reside. LourdesCare at New Hanover enable us to expand our healthcare services into the northern Burlington County service area, creating greater convenience and access to our high-quality care.”

Radiology services include x-ray, magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography and ultrasound.

Physical therapy treatment includes neck and back pain, sports and accident-related injuries, joint replacement therapy, concussion injuries, dizziness and balance disorders and post-surgical rehabilitation.
