Actors portraying royalty kneel in homage before the infant Christ during the Three Kings celebration Jan. 15 in Sacred Heart Church, Trenton. El Centro, a division of Catholic Charities that aids the local Spanish-speaking population, rescheduled the annual event from its original date of Epiphany, Jan. 6, due to inclement weather. Children enjoyed juice and cookies as they viewed a video explaining the story of the magi who came to Christ’s birth bearing gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. Roberto Hernandez, director of El Centro noted, "We need to look at the commonalities of faith, teach our faith and connect to that which makes us all Catholic, one Church."
