Learn more about the laity's role in the Church at Fair Haven event

Nativity Parish, Fair Haven, will host a panel discussion on “The Role of Laity in the Church Today” from 7 to 8:30 p.m. May 22 in the parish hall at 180 Ridge Road.
To be discussed is the Second Vatican Council decree on the Apostolate of the Laity. Nativity Parish, under the leadership of James Grogan, pastor, has developed and published a study guide for the Vatican II document, which will be distributed to those in attendance.
The panel will consist of successful professionals who are also active in their parish communities. They will be joined by two of the parish’s high school parishioners and one who is college-aged. The conversation will be moderated by Jim Manfredonia and Gabriella Furmato of Domestic Church Media Catholic radio.
