Lawrenceville parish to hold mini spiritual growth course

St. Ann Parish, Lawrenceville, will hold an eight-session mini course “The Christian Spiritual Journey” Monday evenings from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 5 through March 26 in the church at 1253 Lawrence Road.
The course offers a framework for understanding the spiritual life for those who follow the way of Jesus. The goal of the course is to help participants establish and/or deepen their own daily spiritual practice. The course offers resources such as “Soul Feast: An Invitation to the Christian Spiritual Life” by Marjorie Thompson and information, its emphasis on spiritual growth and renewal through shared reflection (group discussion) and through participation in the spiritual/prayer practices found in our faith tradition.
Gary Maccaroni, pastoral associate of St. Ann Parish, who has a master of arts from Princeton Theological Seminary, is a lay ecclesial minister and presenter for the diocesan Diaconate degree formation program and will lead the course.
