In keeping with tradition, The Monitor will publish a special keepsake magazine featuring Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M., bestowing a blessing on more than 300 married couples in the Diocese marking one, 25, 50 or more years of marriage this year.

Through news coverage and pages of color photos, The Monitor will bring to life the two Anniversary Blessing events that will have taken place Oct. 8 in St. Aloysius Church, Jackson, and Oct. 22 in St. Mary of the Assumption Cathedral, Trenton – as well as hundreds of original wedding photos from the couples being honored.

Titled “What God Has Joined,” this keepsake will be sent to all subscribers with the regular Nov. 2 issue, and will be sent to all anniversary couples honored this year.

Extra copies can be purchased at $5 per copy by calling The Monitor’s business desk at (609) 403-7131, or by emailing [email protected].

Those wanting to place a congratulatory message for any of the honored anniversary couples can also call (609) 403-7131 or email Monitor-Advertising @dioceseoftrenton.org. The prices of running a congratulatory message for your friends or loved ones range from $25 to $75. All messages will also appear in a digital edition on TrentonMonitor.com. Congratulatory messages must be received no later than Oct. 23.
