Information session for those discerning God's call as a permanent deacon

The Office of Clergy and Consecrated Life will hold an information meeting for those who are discerning God’s call to serve the in the Diocese of Trenton as a permanent deacon, a man ordained to the ministry of charity, Word, and Sacrament.
The presentation will include information about the role of a deacon, the discernment process, the five-year Diaconate Formation Program, and the application process.
Information sessions are scheduled for Sept. 29 and Oct. 6 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Diocesan Chancery, 701 Lawrenceville Rd., Lawrenceville. A wife must accompany her husband.
Pre-registration is required. To pre-register, contact Deacon Michael Riley, associate director of the Office of Clergy and Consecrated Life at 609-403-7134.
