Holy Land Pilgrimage

From Dec. 29 to Jan. 9, 41 seminarians and three priests from New Jersey, including seven seminarians from the Diocese of Trenton went on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, sponsored by Immaculate Conception Seminary, South Orange.

Among the biblical sites they visited were Bethlehem, Nazareth, Jerusalem, Capernaum, Cana, and the Sea of Galilee. At each site, they read the biblical passages associated with the sites and one of the priests gave a biblical explanation and reflection
“For the seminarians, this informative and prayerful experience … is an important part of their overall training to be priests,” said Father Pablo Gadenz, associate professor of Biblical Studies in Immaculate Conception Seminary.
