Holy Hour for Vocations to be held in Hamilton

The Diocese of Trenton is hosting a Holy Hour for Vocations Dec. 10 at 6:30 p.m. in Our Lady of Sorrows-St. Anthony Parish, Hamilton. The event, which will be held in the Our Lady of Sorrows worship site, is sponsored by the diocesan Office of Vocations. It will take the form of a Solemn Vespers service with Scripture reading, reflection, recitation of the Rosary, mediation and closing benediction.
The Holy Hour will be preceded by Eucharistic Adoration to be held throughout the day beginning at 7:30 a.m.
As one component of the Diocese’s effort to support vocations, Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M. requested a Holy Hour be held in each of the four counties. Other initiatives include discernment sessions in parishes on a county level, and a special event sponsored by the regional director of each county.
