Donovan Catholic High School, Toms River, is hosting a free citizenship preparation class from June 20 to July 27.
The six-week program assists participants in completing their N400 applications for citizenship and presents the content of the questions asked at the interview in U.S. history, government and civics.
“Our program prepares applicants to handle the interview process and to be successful on the exam,” said Sister Peggy Nulty, who has led citizenship programs in New Jersey since 1996.
Testing and registration will be held June 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. Classes will be held every Tuesday and Thursday evening from June 20 to July 27. Both will be held at the school at 711 Hooper Ave.
Participants must have a green card, five-year residency, and be able to speak, read and write English. To pre-register, call Sister Peggy Nulty at 732-998-3153.
