For the second year, St. Gregory the Great Parish, Hamilton Square, and Corpus Christi Parish, Willingboro, are offering “That Man Is You!,” a program that aims to help Catholic men of all ages deepen their faith and develop as leaders, husbands and fathers.
Starting Sept. 6 in both St. Gregory the Great and Corpus Christi Parishes, “That Man Is You!” will bring participants together weekly for fellowship and a short audio-visual presentation followed by discussion on how the topic relates to their lives.
According to the official program website: www.thatmanisyou.org, “That Man Is You!” began in Houston in the summer of 2004 and is a 26-week interactive program from Paradisus Dei focused on the development of men in the modern world. the program is divided into two, 13-week “semesters.”
The theme for the second year is “A Light to the Nations.” The fall semester sets forth the vision of the union of man and woman. Integrating the findings of modern medical science with the teaching of St. John Paul II, “A Light to the Nations” discovers in the spousal union a unique reflection of the mystery of the Blessed Trinity that is much deeper than more poetic words.
Both St. Gregory the Great and Corpus Christi Parishes will hold their TMIY sessions on Saturday mornings. In St. Gregory the Great Parish, the time will run from 6:45 to 8:25 a.m., while in Corpus Christi, the men meet from 6 to 7:45 am. The early hours are structured to accommodate the men’s busy schedules and not to interfere with family time or other weekend commitments.
