Funeral services scheduled for Deacon James Mark Micali

Funeral services will be held in St. Clement Church, 172 Freneau Rd., Matawan, for Deacon James Mark Micali who died suddenly Sept. 15 in Toms River Community Medical Center. He was 66.
Wake services will be held Sept. 18 from 4 to 9 p.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Sept. 19 at 10 a.m. All deacons of the Diocese are invited to vest in alb and white stole.
Deacon Micali was ordained May 12, 1990 in St. Mary of the Assumption Cathedral, Trenton, by Bishop John C. Reiss. In addition to his ministries in St. Clement Parish he also volunteered as religious education instructor in the Federal Prison at Fort Dix.
Deacon Micali is survived by his wife, Annmarie, two sons and their spouses and two grandchildren.
