The N.J. Knights of ColumbusTrenton Federation hosted a Bishop’s Appreciation dinner Nov. 15 in St. James Parish, Pennington. Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M. was honored by more than 200 Knights and state officers including N.J. State Deputy Andrew E. Lipenta; former State Deputy Dr. Daniel Rossi (St. Gregory the Great Parish, Hamilton Square); State Warden James E. Stoever (Epiphany Parish, Brick); and the Knights’ State Chaplain Bishop Charles J. McDonnell, auxiliary bishop emeritus of the Archdiocese of Newark. Representatives from Knights councils from all four counties of the Trenton Diocese presented Bishop O’Connell with checks to be used at his discretion.
