The Franciscan Spiritual Center of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Brant Beach, announces the following programs:
A Scripture study group meets every two weeks to learn, discuss and reflect on passages of Sacred Scripture. The group is led by Tom Troyano and meets from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the center’s senior lounge. No prior experience of Scripture is required. The next scheduled meeting is July 8 in the Senior Lounge.
The Franciscan Spiritual Center has an Invitation to Contemplative Living. It is a program that calls out to those who desire to live more contemplatively in the world, to grow in union with God and others and to become more aware, intentional and free. Monthly sessions on the practice of contemplative prayer are scheduled. The group meets from 9:45 a.m. to noon and the next meeting is scheduled for July 11 in the Senior Lounge.
