'Forming Intentional Disciples' workshop planned

The diocesan Ministry of Catechesis and Evangelization and the Office of Pastoral Life and Mission will co-sponsor “Forming Intentional Disciples: The Path to Knowing and Following Jesus” March 28 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the parish center at St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, 61 Georgia Rd., Freehold.

The event is for pastors and parish staff, parish leaders, adult faith formation leaders, school principals and religion teachers, RCIA directors and team members, evangelization and stewardship ministries and to all those interested.

Presenter will be Sherry Anne Weddell, co-founder and co-director of the Catherine of the Siena Institute, Colorado Springs, Colo.  She is author of the bestseller, “Forming Intentional Disciples:  The Path to Knowing and Following Jesus” (Our Sunday Visitor).  She will go through the steps that will help Catholics make the conscious choice to follow Jesus as his disciples, transforming parish life and ultimately the life of the whole Church.
