Msgr. Casimir Ladzinski, a senior priest of the Diocese living in residence in Villa Vianney, the diocesan facility for retired priests in Lawrenceville, and a weekend assistant in St. Ann Parish, Lawrenceville, will be the novena preacher.

A buffet dinner will be held Oct. 24 following the 6 p.m. Mass. Tickets are $20 and can be reserved in St. Michael Church following the 8:45 Sunday Mass through Oct. 18.

For the past 76 years, the novena has provided a special time of grace and blessing for people in the greater Trenton area. The long-time tradition provides people with an opportunity to pray to the Lord through the intercession of St. Jude.

The novena was begun in St. Michael Church by Father Ladislas Rakvica Oct. 20, 1939 in thanksgiving for his own recovery from a near fatal illness.

A schedule on the upcoming novena may be obtained by contacting St. Ann Parish, 1253 Lawrenceville Rd., Lawrenceville. Call 609-882-6491.
