'Fire of Faith' talks continue in Spring Lake

Pastoral talks by area clergy are continuing through May and June in St. Margaret Church, Spring Lake, as part of an eight-part “Fire of Faith” lecture series.
Held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the church at 300 Ludlow Ave., each program consists of a talk in the church, and a question-and-answer session in the lower church followed by refreshments. Upcoming topics and presenters include:
May 8: “Call to Holiness” with Father Kevin O’Neil, a Redemptorist priest on staff at San Alfonso Retreat House, Long Branch
May 15: “The Chair of St. Peter” with Father John Butler, pastor of St. Michael Parish, West End
May 22: “Father Ciszak, S.J.: a 20th century hero” with Father Dean Gaudio, pastor of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Bradley Beach
June 5: “Why go to Mass?” with Father Chris Dayton, parochial vicar of St. Rose Parish, Belmar
All are welcome, and there is no fee for the programs.
