Father John Corapi to offer evangelization conference in Newark

World-renowned speaker and radio and television personality Father John Corapi will present a one-day conference on evangelization entitled “Spiritual Warfare” in the Prudential Center, 165 Mulberry St., Newark, Oct. 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Father Corapi, a priest of the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity, will present four hour-long talks throughout the course of the day on the spiritual warfare that all Catholics must engage in to save their own soul and the souls of their loved ones. Father Corapi will also celebrate Mass at the conclusion of the conference.

Since being ordained to the priesthood in 1991, Father Corapi has traveled over 2 million miles around the globe to preach the Gospel. He appears regularly on EWTN and works to share the teachings of the Church through various forms of media. He has produced numerous DVDs of his inspiring talks, which are centered on three pillars; love of the Eucharist through the celebration of Mass and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, relationship with the Blessed Virgin Mary, and obedience to the Holy Father and the teachings of the Church.

The conference is sponsored by the Domestic Church Media Foundation, a non-profit lay apostolate which operates the radio station WFJS 1260 AM in Trenton and will soon launch a second station, 89.3 FM in Freehold.

Funds raised by the event will help to support the apostolate’s efforts to bring Catholic radio programming to the tri-state area. Ticket prices range from $30 for upper level seats to $65 for lower level seating. Tickets are available for purchase through ticketmaster.com, by calling 1-800-745-3000 or at the Prudential Center box office.

Group tickets can be purchased through Domestic Church Media at domesticchurchmedia.org or by calling 609-882-9357, or email [email protected]. Priests, deacons, seminarians and consecrated religious are invited to attend for free and can obtain tickets by calling Domestic Church Media.
