Fall Formation Day planned for all in Catechesis

The diocesan Department of Evangelization and Catechesis will hold a Fall Formation Day for all in Catechesis including parish catechetical leaders and catechists Aug. 20 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in St. Pius X Church, 300 Lacey Rd., Forked River.
The featured speaker for the day will be Dr. Joseph D. White, Ph.D., a nationally recognized clinical psychologist and best-selling author; he serves as the national catechetical consultant for Our Sunday Visitor and is a member of the panel of experts at OSVParish.com. White will speak on the topic “The Way God Teaches: Catechesis and the Divine Pedagogy.”
The presentation is followed by Mass, lunch and continues to 2:30 p.m.
The cost is $15 per person.
