Faithful called to support special collection for Catholic Relief Services
July 29, 2019 at 12:37 p.m.
During the weekend of March 10-11, parishes across the Diocese of Trenton will be called upon to support the national collection for Catholic Relief Services.
The annual collection benefits six Catholic agencies that work tirelessly to provide aid to victims of persecution and natural disasters, and legal services to poor immigrants, and that advocate for the powerless.
The collection and its proceeds, according to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, serve “Jesus in disguise in some of the most marginalized communities in our world.”
