Evening of hope and help planned

An ecumenical evening geared toward helping those affected by Hurricane Sandy build resilience and hope in the face of challenge is being planned by St. Anthony of Padua Parish, Red Bank in conjuction with churches throughout northern Monmouth County.
The program, to be held Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. in a location yet to be announced, will offer insights from two dynamic facilitators, Mel Bennett, a licensed counselor and psychologist Joseph Colford. Both facilitators specialize in positive psychology rebuilding, with a particular focus on forgiveness, optimism and resilience.
The evening will be one of warmth, love, acceptance and hope for those being challenged by the recent events.
