Emergency and Community Services has urgent request for school supplies

Catholic Charities Emergency and Community Services in Delanco is putting out a call for back-to-school supplies.

According to program director, Bonnie Jordan, for the first time in more than a decade they do not have enough supplies to distribute to people in need, including fulfilling the requests of some 150 children.

The supplies needed include donations of backpacks; notebooks; pens/pencils; calculators; rulers; marble notebooks; dictionaries; three-ring binders; crayons; scissors; sharpeners; protractors; markers; glue sticks; two-pocket folders and loose-leaf paper.

Donations may be brought to the Emergency and Community Services site at 801 Burlington Ave., Suite G, Delanco, Monday-Friday, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
