Ecumenical World Day of Prayer observance rescheduled
July 29, 2019 at 12:37 p.m.
An observance of the 2015 Ecumenical World Day of Prayer has been rescheduled to Friday, April 10 at 1 p.m. in St. Mary of the Pines Church, McKinley Avenue and Bishop Lane, Manahawkin.
The World Day of Prayer is an annual worldwide ecumenical movement led by Christian women who come together to observe a common day of prayer and action. Each year a different country forms a committee which serves as the writer of the worship service interpreting the Bible in their own context. This year's committee is The Bahamas. Some nine area churches in the Barnegat-Manahawkin area are expected to participate in the April 10 observance. Everyone is welcome. For more information, contact Michele Reichert at 609-698-4518.
