Diocese offers family, parish relations seminar

The diocesan Department of Youth, Marriage and Family Life will sponsor a seminar entitled “Family Systems, Parish Systems – Connecting the Domestic Church to the Parish” March 15 in the diocesan Pastoral Center, 701 Lawrenceville Rd., Trenton.

The seminar, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., will offer a deeper understanding of the interactions and dynamics of family and parish systems, which can enhance one’s ability to be more effective in ministry.

Presenters will be Linda Richardson, director of the diocesan Department of Youth, Marriage and Family Life; Peg Hensler, diocesan program coordinator of Marriage Ministries and Natural Family Planning; and Mary Ann Collett,  director of Adult Faith Formation in St. Martha Parish, Point Pleasant.

Fee is $10 and participation may be applied to a diocesan certificate in Marriage and Family Ministry. Breakfast and beverages will be provided; bring your own lunch.
